If you have all or the majority of the tests that Dr. Breen requires and they are within 12 months of your initial appointment many times Dr. Breen will be able to use them. Many times patients have only some of the tests completed and need to simply get the additional tests done.

Unfortunately insurance companies view the anti-aging medical community as preventive or non-essential care and as a result do not reimburse Dr. Breen for his efforts. We can give you a super-bill for all of your in office and phone appointments to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. As of now, program fees are not reimbursable per insurance company regulations.

No. Dr. Breen is specifically your anti-aging doctor. If you get acutely sick and need an anti-biotic you will still need to see your regular doctor for an anti-biotic.

There are times when Dr. Breen will refill simple prescriptions like blood pressure medications or give a simple anti-biotic if the patient is unable to see their primary care doctor for whatever reason.

There are thousands of compound pharmacies located throughout the country but very few are excellent and can make the variety of hormones that APS does. Secondly, Dr. Breen has no way of verifying that each pharmacy is using the best suppliers for their raw materials and can not guarantee patients will get excellent levels. In other words, you do not want to get a sterile bottle of testosterone made from any random compounder. You want to make sure your pharmacy is holding themselves to the highest industry standards, which APS does.
